Fire Passive Manager

About the role

Complete Plumbing and Fire Pty Ltd are seeking a driven and experienced Fire Passive Manager to join their team in Wollongong, NSW. This full-time role will be responsible for overseeing the maintenance and compliance of passive fire protection systems within a variety of commercial and industrial properties.

What you'll be doing

• Conduct regular inspections and testing of passive fire protection systems such as fire doors, penetrations, and dampers to ensure they meet Australian Standards

• Prepare detailed reports/Quotes and documentation to record system performance and identify any required remediation work

• Liaise with clients, authorities, and stakeholders to coordinate and schedule maintenance activities

• Manage a team of technicians to carry out passive fire protection system installations, repairs, and upgrades

• Ensure all work is completed to the highest quality and safety standards

• Stay up-to-date with changes to relevant legislation and building codes

What we're looking for

• Minimum 5 years' experience in a similar fire protection or building services role

• Thorough understanding of passive fire protection systems and Australian Standards compliance

• Strong technical and problem-solving skills to diagnose and resolve fire safety issues

• Excellent communication and stakeholder management capabilities

• Ability to read and interpret building plans, schematics, and technical documentation

• Relevant trade qualifications or tertiary education in a related field

• Current driver's licence and ability to travel to client sites
