About the Role

WorkPac is currently seeking a Fire Systems Program Specialist to join Rio Tinto in Perth. You will be joining a high performing team, to provide subject matter advice on Fire System asset management to ensure safe, cost effective and reliable asset operation. This role is available on a Monday to Friday roster, for an initial 6 month duration.

Key Responsibilities:

• Providing specialised technical discipline support to maintenance, operations, project and commercial teams

• Ownership and governance of discipline specific asset tactics and strategies

• Reviewing Management of Change, changes to maintenance systems and tactics

• Lead the development of a 5-year sustaining capital plan driven by risk

• Support implementation of parts supply contract and maintenance labour service contract

• Identifying improvement opportunities within asset reliability, asset management systems and processes

• Coaching, mentoring and training to build capability within Sites and other team members

Skills & Experience Required:

• Engineering, Business, finance, or related degree

• Project Management qualifications

• Experience in SAP

• Knowledge in Fire Systems, asset maintenance, Work Management process, master data, planning/scheduling or experience in CRA will be well regarded

• Exceptional interpersonal skills with sound written communication skills

• Strong stakeholder management skills

• Demonstrated experience in contractor management

• Problem solving skills and analytical capacity

• Demonstrated business improvement capability

• Valid C Class Driver’s Licence
