This well-established company has a strong, stable history in manufacturing a product range sold around Australia and requires a skilled person to assist in the factory doing mechanical assembly work.

This is a new position that will involve various tasks. It is necessary to be flexible with skills and be willing to move around the workshop area to keep up with demand.

Reporting to the Supervisor, you will be doing assembly work of machines and equipment. You will be working with light fabrication and machined parts plus wiring looms. You will be testing the finished product and packing.

This will involve mostly bench work using various precision hand tools and, at times will be slightly heavy work. The product itself is not large. We need someone who can read a drawing and use hand tools plus understand how to install wires.

TO APPLY YOU SHOULD HAVE THE FOLLOWING SKILLS:

• Mechanical assembly experience.
• Forklift licence ideal.
• Ability to use various hand tools
• Ability to read drawings and instructions.
• Excellent communication skills (verbal and written)
• Physically fit to conduct manual handling
• Medical and police checks are a must
