IGS Early Learners is a purpose-built long day care centre and kindergarten service, catering for boys and girls from 6 weeks old to Pre-Prep. Our management and staff members are committed to best practice in Early Education, by nurturing young minds and empowering them for a lifetime of learning. Operated by Ipswich Grammar School, we understand the significance of these early years in shaping a child’s future and we take pride in providing an environment that supports their holistic development.

Our Float Lead Educator will:

  • have an understanding of relevant legislation, frameworks, IGS Early Learners’ policies, procedures and guidelines to ensure the service meets all compliance obligations; 
  • care for the physical and emotional needs of babies at the centre, relevant to their age and development;
  • undertake general tasks to contribute to the overall operation of the centre.

Qualifications and Experience 

  • Diploma of Early Childhood Education and Care or actively working towards.

As a condition of employment, all non-teaching staff are required to hold a valid Working with Children Check (Blue Card) and are required to maintain their Blue Card for the duration of employment. In addition, hold a current First Aid, Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) and Asthma and Anaphylaxis Qualification.
