Key Accountabilities

• Prepare layouts with experience in civil pre-casting products
• Construct formwork to retain wet concrete
• Interpret drawings, read plans and specifications to determine materials required
• Measure, cut, nail and shape parts
• Manual handling and labouring duties
• Precast concrete form work
• Mark and line out formwork of the drawings
• Erect and dismantle formwork as instructed
• Assist with steel fixing when required
• Monitor formwork throughout the pours

Selection Criteria 

• Previous experience as a formwork carpenter / concreter
• Relevant trades qualifications
• Precast experience highly desirable
• Forklift and dogging high risk tickets highly desirable
• The ability to multitask, problem solve and organise, plan and schedule activities with good time management
• Have the ability to analyse information and make appropriate decisions
• Be highly motivated with a strong attention to detail and accuracy
• Must be hands-on and complete tasks that are necessary to meet deadlines
• Hold a valid driver’s licence
