Front Office Receptionist

About the role

Join the friendly team at Quest Preston as a Front Office Receptionist. In this casual role, you will be the first point of contact for our guests, providing exceptional customer service to ensure their stay is enjoyable and seamless. Working flexible shifts, you will be an essential part of the day-to-day operations of our Melbourne CBD hotel.

What you'll be doing

Greeting and checking-in/out guests in a welcoming and efficient manner

Handling guest inquiries and requests, and resolving any issues promptly

Providing local knowledge and recommendations to enhance the guest experience

Performing administrative tasks such as managing bookings and maintaining accurate records

Assisting with additional duties as required to support the front office team

What we're looking for

Previous experience in a customer service or hospitality role, ideally in a hotel environment

Strong communication and interpersonal skills to build rapport with guests

Excellent problem-solving and conflict resolution abilities

Proficient in using various hotel management and booking systems

Flexibility to work a range of shifts, including weekends and public holidays

A friendly, professional and customer-focused approach
