Task & Responsibilities
Plan and prepare a variety of Indian dishes in line with our authentic menu
Oversee food preparation, cooking, and presentation standards
Maintain stock levels and ensure timely ordering of supplies
Ensure compliance with food safety, hygiene, and cleanliness standards
Train and supervise kitchen staff, ensuring smooth kitchen operations
Assist in the development of new menu items and seasonal specials
Monitor kitchen costs and manage portion control to reduce waste
Qualification & Experience
Certificate III or IV in Commercial Cookery (or equivalent) preferred
Minimum 1–2 years of experience working as a Chef, ideally in Indian cuisine
Strong understanding of Indian spices, cooking techniques, and food presentation
Ability to work in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment
Excellent communication and leadership skills
Flexible availability including weekends and public holidays
