We are now recruiting an experienced Showroom Coordinator to join our Fashion, Watches and Fine Jewelry Communications team. This opportunity is a fixed term contract that will be approximately 11 months.

The primary function of this role is to support the PR showroom management under the guidance of the FWFJ Communications Executive and the FWFJ PR Assistant Manager. In addition, this role will work cross functionally to support the administration of the wider fashion team including making travel bookings, the monitoring and clipping of Chanel and competitor editorial coverage and support of the monthly adhoc reporting for Arts and Culture and assisting with event preparation.

Offering strong support across a dynamic fashion communications team, including the upholding the maintenance and standards of the press room, the careful handling of garments and Chanel inventory, confidently liaising with KOL’s, Press and VIP’s and the scheduling ability to ensure all requests are attended to in a timely manner.

  • Monitor and receive delivery of Fashion, Watches, Fine Jewellery press samples into the PR showroom, managing end-to-end inventory processes.
  • Create and update press sample documents for dissemination to press, KOLs and VIPs.
  • Coordinate the delivery and return of local and international press samples to media, KOLs and VIPs.
  • Support with the press sample end-of-lifecycle and inventory audits processes.
  • Support with transfers of ad-hoc products from the CHANEL Fashion Boutique network.
  • File and maintain physical and digital collection and product press tools.
  • Assist in press trip travel arrangements including research, booking travel, accommodation, entertainment activities and itinerary creation.
  • Support with local and international product requests, coordinating sample delivery and returns for editorial shoots and dressings.
  • Provide requested product information to the media in a timely manner, including product captions and high-resolution imagery.
KEY SKILLS
  • Strong understanding of computer literacy (Outlook, Teams, SharePoint, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Photoshop, Adobe Acrobat)
  • Knowledge and experience with showroom and inventory management (FashionGPS, AX, PowerBI)
  • Knowledge of media and social media monitoring software (DMR, Lefty, MeltWater)
  • Knowledge and experience with local and international courier and logistical processes
  • Exceptional organizational skills with the strong ability to multi-task and prioritize
  • Enthusiasm, proactivity, and ability to complex problem solve
  • Understanding of fashion, lifestyle and entertainment media landscape in Australia and New Zealand
