We're Hiring: Gaming Manager, Are you a passionate leader with a strong background in hospitality and management? We’re looking for a Gaming Manager to oversee and elevate the operations of our vibrant licensed hotel/club. Key Responsibilities:
● Oversee hotel/Club Operations:
Manage and supervise daily operations across the bar, restaurant, gaming, and function services to ensure smooth and efficient functioning.
● Event and Activity Management:
Plan, organize, and oversee sporting events, gaming activities, and entertainment offerings, making sure every event meets high standards.
● Staff Leadership & Development:
Lead, train, and supervise a dedicated team to deliver excellent customer service across all areas of the hotel.
● Customer & Member Relations:
Foster a welcoming environment for members and guests, maintaining relationships and addressing their preferences, ensuring a memorable experience every time.
● Financial Management & Reporting:
Handle Point of Sale (POS) transactions, manage cash flow, reconcile till drawers at the start and end of shifts, and provide daily turnover reports.
● Compliance & Safety:
Ensure the hotel/club operates in accordance with relevant laws and regulations, including liquor, gaming, and health and safety standards. Oversee security and property maintenance to maintain a safe and enjoyable atmosphere for all.
● Communication & Marketing:
Coordinate newsletters and hotel/club communications to keep members informed about upcoming events, special offers, and the full range of club services.
● Inventory & Resource Management:
Oversee inventory levels, ensuring stock availability for smooth operations and prompt reordering when necessary.
What We're Looking For:
- Over 1 year’s proven experience within a licensed club or hospitality venue specifically in gaming operations and on compliance, team leadership, and customer service.
- Highly relevant qualifications in hotel/club management, hospitality, or a related field
- Strong leadership abilities with a focus on team development and customer satisfaction
- Knowledge of relevant regulations (liquor, gaming, health & safety)
- Financial acumen with experience in managing cash, POS systems, and sales performance
- Excellent organizational and communication skills
- Ability to manage multiple tasks while maintaining high service standards
Salary:
70,000 to 95,000 AUD
