The Role
We are seeking a motivated and enthusiastic undergraduate or recent graduate to join our ever-growing team. This position is ideal for someone looking to start their career and gain hands-on experience in a supportive and professional environment.
In this role, you’ll be exposed to a variety of tasks and learning opportunities, including but not limited to:
Assist with the preparation of financial statements, tax returns, and BAS/IAS for individuals, companies, trusts and partnerships;
Support the team with bookkeeping, reconciliations, and data entry tasks;
Liaise with clients and regulatory bodies under supervision;
Gain exposure to a variety of accounting software and cloud platforms; and
Learn from experienced professionals and receive ongoing training and mentoring.
You will begin your BL3 journey in the Compliance Team, completing administrative tasks to ensure you have gained a thorough understanding of all of our systems and processes before transitioning to the Advisory Team.
About You
You will thrive in this role if you:
Are currently completing or have recently completed a degree in Accounting or Commerce;
Have strong attention to detail and a willingness to learn;
Possess solid communication and time management skills;
Have experience using Linux programs, Google apps, and Xero (not a requirement but an advantage); and
Have a proactive, positive attitude and enjoy working autonomously and in a team environment.
No prior accounting experience is necessary – we are happy to train the right candidate and help build a rewarding career pathway.
