We are seeking an experienced Group Financial Controller to lead our finance teams, take ownership of our core finance functions and play a key strategic role in our continued growth.
Reporting to the CFO of this ASX business you will be responsible for:

Financial Reporting & Control: Oversee all accounting, reporting, and financial control processes to ensure accuracy, compliance, and integrity

Forecasting & Budgeting: Lead the annual budgeting process and forecasting, ensuring alignment with business strategy and performance goals

Commercial Analysis & Decision Support: Deliver financial insights, performance analysis, and strategic support to drive informed decision-making and operational efficiency

Treasury, Capex & M&A: Manage treasury operations, capital expenditure planning, and support acquisition activities

Stakeholder Engagement: Collaborate with external advisors including auditors, legal counsel, automotive advisors and share registry service providers

Projects & Regulatory Oversight: Lead or support finance-related projects, oversee insurance, oversee regulatory compliance, and contribute to strategic initiatives

Additional Responsibilities: May include involvement in investor relations and capital management activities
Key Requirements:
- Significant experience as a Financial Controller or Senior Finance Manager
- Experience leading and developing finance teams
- Demonstrated ability to drive operational performance through financial analysis, metrics, and strategic recommendations
- Excellent ability to collaborate with COOs, CEOs, and other executives to support strategic and commercial decision-making
- Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to engage effectively at all levels from the dealership floor to the boardroom
- CA qualification
- Experience in the Automotive industry is strongly preferred. Applicants without ASX experience are encouraged
