- Certificate III in Hairdressing or equivalent qualification
- Proven experience working as a in a salon setting

Tasks & responsibilities
1) Liaise and service all salon clients with colour work and styling
2) Consult clients to achieve the best outcome for clients
3) Perform toning, semi application and tinting
4) Highlight tint and bleach hair
5) Highlight and balisage
6) Cut all hair types in women and men
7) Order and control all colour stock and liaise with colour representatives
8) Train and educate all staff on colour
9) Train all junior staff in colour technical and practical work Rebook and retain clientele up to 70%
10) Recommend specific and personal haircare regime to clients and have up to date knowledge on retail product that is stocked in salon.
11) Open and close salon
12) Co-ordinate salon floor and maintain salon cleanliness and hygiene.
Qualifications & experience
- Apprenticeship or AQF Certificate III including at least two years of on-the-job training, or AQF Certificate IV.
At least three years of relevant experience may substitute for the formal qualifications listed above. - 2 years relevant work experience in addition to qualifications
