Occupation: Head Chef Location: Morayfield, QLD 4506 Company: Rockpool RAC (Morayfield) Pty Ltd Annual Salary: $80,000 – $90,000 Rockpool RAC (Morayfield) Pty Ltd is a fully accredited and privately owned aged care provider. We offer residential, respite, memory support, and palliative care, fostering a vibrant, secure, and compassionate community. We seek a qualified and experienced Head Chef to lead our kitchen team at our Morayfield facility. Key Responsibilities:

• Oversee daily food preparation and delivery of high-quality, nutritious meals tailored to residents’ dietary and cultural needs.
• Develop rotating menus in collaboration with residents, dietitians, and staff.
• Ensure full compliance with HACCP and food safety regulations.
• Manage kitchen budgets, inventory, stock ordering, and supplier relationships.
• Supervise, train, and mentor kitchen staff to ensure a positive, high-performance team culture.
• Engage with residents and families to continuously enhance the dining experience.

Skills & Experience Required:

• Certificate III or IV in Commercial Cookery (or equivalent).
• Food Safety Supervisor Certification.
• Proven experience as a Head Chef or in a senior kitchen role (preferably in aged care, healthcare, or hospitality).
• Strong knowledge of dietary needs, food safety standards, and HACCP compliance.
• Leadership skills with the ability to manage rosters, budgets, and performance.
• Excellent communication, problem-solving, and organisational abilities.

Desirable:

• Qualifications in team leadership or management.
• Familiarity with aged care quality standards.
• Experience introducing sustainability or waste-reduction initiatives.
