The Opportunity

At CPP, we pride ourselves on being a forward-thinking business, offering exceptional end-to-end services across design, construction, commissioning, and maintenance. Our Asset Management Services (AMS) department specialises in high-voltage solutions, managing repairs and upgrades on critical equipment such as switchgear, transformers, cables, and protection relays, for some of the largest renewable energy assets in the country.

As one of our HV Maintenance Electricians, you will work on industry-leading projects across regional NSW. You will be rewarded with excellent working conditions under our enterprise agreement and have the opportunity to work on high-voltage substation projects that are contributing to Australia's renewable energy future.

HV Electricians will join a great team culture as part of our onsite maintenance teams and work collaboratively to deliver maintenance projects safely, on time and within budget.  

About You

To be successful in this role, you will possess:

  • NSW Electrical License
  • Sound knowledge of HV equipment
  • Previous experience in the utility or industrial industry
  • Desirable but not essential, experience in testing and maintaining: 
    • HV protection systems
    •  HV substation secondary systems & primary plant
    • HV plant/assets 
    • Power transformers
  • Although not essential, experience in substations, HV construction and testing will be highly regarded
