Responding to the rapid growth in mobile data our IBC/DAS Build team plays an integral role in the delivery of our nation-wide IBC/DAS program. In this role you will be responsible for ensuring each DAS is delivered in line with Industry level Radio Frequency (RF) technical specifications and according to the Mobile Carrier approved design documentation. You will be required to use your IBC/DAS installation skills demonstrating an eye for detail and pride in the quality of your workmanship

Task & Responsibilities

Responsibilities

  • Installation of IBC/DAS infrastructure including cable installations and related terminations according to committed timelines and technical specifications.
  • Performing cable and system test regime to validate system performance against Industry requirements.
  • Provide leadership to teams working to deliver each site utilising your build knowledge to troubleshoot issues whilst ensuring build quality is maintained.
Qualification & Experience

Experience

  • have experience in deploying distributed antenna solutions including both active and passive solutions across multiple infrastructure environments utilising a variety of equipment vendor products.
  • have experience and/or certified to install equipment and components from Commscope, JMA, RFS
  • have field experience installing a range fibre, copper, coaxial cable types
  • have experience performing and interpreting a range of Line sweep test procedures including VSWR, Return Loss, Distance to fault and cable loss.
  • have experience performing Passive Intermodulation (PIM) Testing,
  • have experience with Fibre splicing and OTDR testing
  • capable of performing site acceptance activities including final testing, quality control and handover acceptance.
  • have experience in leading and managing site based teams, driving accountability and managing to task and time deadlines as part of your project management skills is essential.
  • be able demonstrate your communication skills including the ability to clearly articulate requirements to others and respond to feedback.
  • possess a ‘hands-on’ approach to leadership and be willing to set the expectation levels in terms of quality and performance and manage accordingly.
