Job description McKinna are seeking a full time Industrial Designer to join our growing Team at our Braeside location Key Tasks include:

Plan, design, develop and document products for manufacture and prepare designs and specifications of products for mass, batch and one-off production. Determining the objectives and constraints of the design brief by consulting with clients and stakeholders Undertaking product research and analysing functional, commercial, cultural and aesthetic requirements

Formulating design concepts for industrial, commercial and consumer products Preparing CAD Drawings, illustrations, plans, samples and models to communicate design concepts Negotiating design solutions with clients, management, and sales and manufacturing staff

Selecting, specifying and recommending functional and aesthetic materials, production methods and finishes for manufacture Detailing and documenting the selected design for production Preparing and commissioning prototypes and samples

Supervising the preparation of patterns, programs and tooling, and the manufacture process in depth knowledge of sheet metal processes for pricing and design of architectural metal assemblies. in depth knowledge of designing for welding and fabrication.

extensive knowledge of sheet metal for the construction industry, roll form, cassette cladding, shrouds, privacy screens, sunshade screens, planter boxes, drains, grates. experience using business central platform to manage and update project documentation. proficiency with use of Power Bi and PowerApps tools.

awareness of design parameters for Metalix cad/cam sheet metal software experience using Microsoft excel macros To register your interest hit Apply
