Industrial Refrigeration Technician

Due to constant growth, we are looking for an experienced Ammonia Technician to join our team.

Tri Tech Refrigeration is a well-established Industrial Refrigeration company that services refrigeration systems in cold storage and food & beverage manufacturing facilities.

Due to continued growth, we are looking for an industrial refrigeration technician with experience on ammonia refrigeration systems.

Responsibilities

• Reciprocating and screw compressor, internal maintenance.

• Two stage, single stage, plant maintenance.

• Liquid recirculation, DX, flooded and electronic controlled cooling systems maintenance.

• General knowledge of electrics and control systems.

• Freon exposure.

• Be prepared to train as required apprentice refrigeration mechanics assigned to your direct control

• Maintaining paperwork to a satisfactory standard and signing off job cards at the completion of every job.

• Because of the geographic and positioning of our customer base, extensive travelling is required; therefore it is a requirement to be prepared to travel into country and interstate areas from time to time.

Skills and Experience Required

• Refrigeration & Air Conditioning Trade Certificate

• Australian Drivers License

• Refrigerant Handling License

• White Card

• Excellent diagnostic skills

• Can work well individually & in a team environment

• Good communication skills, both written & verbal.

• Ability to pass medical examination

• Can understand and work to all OHS & safety requirements
