About the RoleReporting to the IT Manager ANZ, you would have the responsibility to provide advanced technical support, troubleshooting and resolving completed IT issues that go beyond the capabilities of Level 1 support.
Some of the key responsibilities include:
- Diagnose and resolve hardware, software, and network problems.
- Perform in-depth analysis of system logs and performance metrics to identify and resolve issues.
- Administer and maintain servers, including Windows and Linux environments.
- Manage and configure network devices such as routers, switches, and firewalls.
- Assist in the design and implementation of IT infrastructure projects.
- Support system upgrades, migrations, and deployments.
- Monitor and ensure compliance with IT security policies and procedures.
- Implement and manage security measures to protect data and infrastructure.
- Respond to security incidents and breaches, performing necessary investigations and remediation.
About YouTo be successful in this role, you need to be able to demonstrate the following experience:
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field, or equivalent work experience.
- Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in IT roles, with a strong background in L1/L2/L3 support.
- Relevant certifications such as CompTIA Network+, CompTIA Security+, Microsoft Certified: Azure Administrator, Cisco CCNA/CCNP, or similar certifications are preferred.
- Proficiency in Windows Server, Linux/Unix systems, and virtualization technologies (e.g., VMware, Hyper-V).
- Knowledge in Cloud and Cloud management (e.g., AWS, Azure, Google, Terraform, Ansible)
- Knowledge of networking concepts and protocols (e.g., TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VPN).
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
