Position:
This position is responsible for providing customer and technical support in installing Audio Visual and associated technologies within large projects and construction environments. Can work within a team environment either on construction-based installs or existing customer locations, also may carry out installation and commissioning on minor works and small projects jobs.
Key responsibilities include:
- Ability to install, configure, and test various Audio Visual and IT hardware on-site.
- Ensure smooth coordination of installation activities on construction sites, working with other trades and stakeholders.
- Ensure that projects are completed within set deadlines and closely monitoring site progress.
- Providing guidance on installation techniques, safety practices, and troubleshooting methods to junior technicians.
- Manage the installation and termination of cable infrastructure in accordance with project requirements and to industry standards.
- Maintain a high level of customer service, addressing client needs and ensuring their satisfaction.
- Maintain a strong focus on detail to ensure the quality and accuracy of all installations, documentation, and reports.
- Oversee and conduct thorough testing of installed solutions to ensure they meet quality standards. • Oversee and manage the delivery and return of equipment and machinery used in installations.
Experience required:
- Minimum of 3 years of experience as an AV Installation Technician, with industry or trade qualifications
- Passion for technology
- High attention to detail
- Ability to work on a construction site and coordinate with other trades
- High level communication skills - written, oral.
- Ability to prioritize issues and tasks.
- Analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Proficient installation technician with a positive attitude.
- Valid green/white card and driver's licence
