A new and exciting opportunity! We are seeking an Instructional Learning and Design Specialist to join our dynamic Learning and Development team. This role is responsible for the instructional design and development of Anglicare-wide learning experiences (both face-to-face and e-learning) that align with legislative requirements, enable our staff to thrive, and support Anglicare in becoming a high-performing Christian organisation. This is a full-time maximum term position (9 months) based at Macquarie Park. Key Duties & Responsibilities:Conduct thorough training needs assessments to identify learning gaps and requirements.Work closely with subject matter experts, regulatory bodies, learning vendors, and other stakeholders to ensure content accuracy and relevance.Review and source existing or new learning solutions from external vendors to deliver and optimise learning outcomes.Create comprehensive learning modules, materials, and programs that reflect best practice learning engagement and comply with relevant regulations and standards. This includes eLearning modules, instructor-led training, and blended learning solutions.Ensure learning materials are uploaded, tracked, and maintained on the Learning Management System and support the rollout and local implementation of designed modules.Implement evaluation strategies to measure the effectiveness of learning programs and gather feedback for continuous improvement.Regularly analyse and report on the engagement and effectiveness of learning modules and develop appropriate modifications if needed. Key Skills & Competencies: E-learning Design Capability: Experience in e-learning design using digital authoring tools such as Articulate 360 and Adobe Captivate. Desired experience with Adobe Creative Cloud products, including Illustrator, Photoshop, and InDesign.Strong Learning Knowledge: Understanding of adult learning principles and instructional design methodologies.Analytical Thinking: Ability to analyse complex information and develop effective learning solutions.Creativity: Innovative approach to designing engaging and impactful learning experiences.Attention to Detail: Meticulous attention to detail to ensure accuracy and compliance.Adaptability: Flexibility to adapt to changing requirements and priorities.Organisation: Excellent project management and organisational skills.Collaboration: Ability to work collaboratively with diverse teams.Communication: Strong written and verbal communication skills. Qualifications and Experience:Minimum of 5 years of experience in e-learning instructional design, preferably within the aged care or healthcare sector.A relevant tertiary qualification.
