Intermediate Tax Accountant - PUBLIC PRACTICE ACCOUNTING CAREER PATHWAY

$70K - $85K + super

The role:

• The preparation of clients work to trial balance including work papers and relevant reconciliations

• The preparation of income tax returns and financial statements

• Dealing with Division 7A, CGT and FBT calculations

• Supporting Senior Accountants and Managers / Directors

• Payroll, Superannuation, Payroll Tax and Workcover processing and calculations for the team's portfolio of payroll clients

• Preparation of BAS’s and IAS’s

• Applying the knowledge of relevant taxation legislation

To be considered you will ideally have;
 

• Your CA/CPA Qualifications or studying towards

• Strong tax compliance interpretation skills

• 2 - 3 + years’ experience in an Australian Accounting Firm

• Experience producing tax returns and financial statements for companies, trusts and partnerships

• Experience with XERO Tax, MYOB AE

• Pride in the work you do

• A passion for helping Australian Businesses

• Excellent communication skills

• A desire to continuously improve your technical ability
