Wymap Group is a privately owned Aviation Transport Logistics company that has been providing services to the airfreight, airport and airline industries since 1981. Over the last 18 months we have established and are steadily growing our interstate transport division.
About the Role:
We are currently seeking full time permanent drivers to support our interstate operations and major contracts. The role will require:
- The safe delivery of air freight between states or to changeovers
- Checking of manifests and maintaining all necessary paperwork
- Overseeing loading, load restraint or checking preloads prior to departure
- Maintaining all necessary paperwork including prestart checks, national work diaries etc.
- Journey may consist of Melbourne to Tarcutta (change over) or through to Sydney.
Selection Criteria:
- Current HC Truck License
- Interstate Truck Driving Experience - minimum of 1 years’ experience
- We operate 7 days per week and rosters will be in line with NHVL (Standard Solo Drivers or BFM)
- Strong awareness of chain of responsibility requirements, including load and restraint, mass & dims, fatigue management.
- Provision of your Driving History Record
- Ability to pass a federal police check to obtain an Aviation Security Identification Card (ASIC)
- Airport / airfreight experience would be desirable though not mandatory
