ABOUT THE ROLE

This is an exciting time for us, as we are looking for an Inventory Specialist – Apparel, Equipment & Product to join the Cricket department at Cricket Australia. In this role you will be responsible for the forecasting, budgeting, delivery and monitoring, both operationally and financially of the provision of Apparel, Equipment and Nutritional Products for Australian Cricket High Performance National Teams.

Reporting to the Head of Team Operations, you will also be responsible for:

  • Coordinating with Team Managers, CA Commercial and CA Performance Dietitians to understand and ensure appropriate resources are planned for and provided.
  • Act as the primary liaison working with our suppliers for collaborative planning and operational delivery. Supplies may include our apparel production partner, apparel suppliers, equipment suppliers, nutritional product suppliers and our courier delivery partners.
  • Work with team representatives to understand the requirements and feedback of our players and staff to continuously evolve the apparel, equipment and nutritional product supply to suit the needs of our teams and the strategic ambitions of Cricket Australia.
  • Comply with CA and Team Operations financial processes to forecast, deliver on and reconcile annual approved budgets.
  • Build and maintain an expert network of internal and external relationships.

WHO WE ARE LOOKING FOR

  • Relevant Retail, Inventory Management or Supply Chain qualifications or equivalent experience.
  • Possess a good working knowledge or, and passion for, clothing supply and stock management, branding and servicing sporing teams.
  • Ability to work confidently under pressure and priortise working to adhere to project timeless and achieve results.
  • To be proactive, have initiative and have a flexible attitude, working well as part of a team in a dynamic environment.
  • Be enthusiastic and versatile and be able to build, develop and maintain good working relationships with colleagues.
  • Strong working knowledge of the Microsoft 365 Suite with the ability to maximise efficiency through use of applications such as Excel, Teams & Power Automate integrations.
  • Proven ability to deliver operational efficiencies through the evolution of systems and procedures.
  • Ability to communicate effectively, positively, and respectfully with all colleagues.
