IT SUPPORT SPECIALIST

About the role

This is an exciting opportunity to join the dynamic IT team at Mitek Australia Ltd as an IT Support Specialist. In this full-time role, you will be based in our Dandenong South office in Victoria, providing high-quality technology support and solutions to our employees across the organisation.

What you'll be doing

• Respond to and resolve IT-related incidents and requests from employees in a timely and efficient manner

• Diagnose and troubleshoot hardware and software issues, implementing fixes or coordinating with third-party vendors as needed

• Provide technical support for a wide range of IT systems, applications and devices used across the business

• Assist with the deployment, configuration and maintenance of new hardware and software

• Collaborate with the IT team to continuously improve our IT infrastructure and support processes

• Ensure all IT support activities are documented and follow established policies and procedures

What we're looking for

• 2+ years of experience in an IT support or helpdesk role, preferably in a medium-to-large sized organisation

• Strong technical knowledge and ability to troubleshoot a variety of hardware and software issues

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively liaise with users at all levels

• Service-oriented mindset with a focus on providing high-quality and responsive IT support

• Willingness to continuously learn and keep up with the latest IT trends and technologies

• Relevant IT certifications or qualifications would be highly regarded
