Junior solicitor/ Paralegal

About the role

Shun Wah Lawyers are seeking a talented and ambitious Paralegal/Junior Solicitor to join their dynamic team in Fortitude Valley, Queensland. This is a full-time position that will play a crucial role in supporting the firm's legal practice and providing exceptional service to our clients.

What you'll be doing

• Assisting senior solicitors with legal research, document preparation, and file management

• Drafting and reviewing a variety of legal documents, including contracts, agreements, and correspondence

• Conducting legal research and analysis to support the firm's practice areas

• Providing administrative support, such as scheduling meetings, organising client files, and maintaining databases

• Actively participating in client meetings and contributing to client-focused solutions

What we're looking for

• Motivated lawyer with experience in Conveyancing/ General practice

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills and analytical abilities

• Proficient in using legal research tools and database software

• Attention to detail and the ability to work accurately under pressure

• A team player with a proactive and problem-solving mindset

• Relevant experience in a legal or paralegal role is highly desirable

• Mandarin/ Cantonese speaker preferred
