About The Role

We are looking for Kitchen Hands to join our team at Brisbane Airport. In this role, you will ensure the kitchen is clean and organised by washing and sanitising dishes, utensils, and equipment. You will play an important part in helping the kitchen run smoothly. This role offers flexible 24/7 shifts to fit your lifestyle. It's a great opportunity to gain experience in a busy kitchen environment along with competitive pay rates from $29 to $32 per hour.

Your Responsibilities

As a Kitchen Hand, your main tasks will include:

• Washing and sanitising dishes, utensils, and kitchen equipment. 
• Keeping the dishwashing area clean and organised. 
• Removing waste and ensuring the kitchen area is tidy. 
• Following safety and hygiene rules to maintain a safe work environment. 
• Assisting with the preparation of carts for meal service as needed. 
• Supporting the kitchen team to ensure efficient operations.

The Must-Haves
To be successful in this role, you will need:

• A strong work ethic and dependability. 
• Punctuality; being on time is very important. 
• Good attention to cleanliness. 
• Ability to follow safety rules. 
• Willingness to work different shifts, including weekends and holidays. 
• Ability to pass a Medical Check. 
• Previous experience in a similar job is preferred but not required. 
• Training will be provided for the right candidates.
