Learning Support Officer

Role Description/Criteria

It is expected that the successful applicant will:

• possess the ability to take direction from the teacher(s) or leader(s) to provide the best support for students

• be willing to work collaboratively, in genuine relationships with others, for the best outcomes for all stakeholders
• accept and use feedback to enhance personal learning and growth
• be open to innovation through reflection, questioning and responding
• demonstrate friendliness, positivity and enthusiasm in the role
• demonstrate knowledge of the Multi-tiered System of Support (MTSS) model

Special Requirements:

• A suitable qualification in Education Support or current enrolment in a teacher training course
• A current Working With Children Card and National Police Check
• A current First Aid certificate
