The Opportunity
Moonee Valley City Council is seeking a proactive and community-minded Library Customer Service & Program Support Officer to join our Libraries and Learning team. Based at Niddrie Library (with potential shifts across branches), this is a rewarding role supporting library users of all ages while helping deliver inclusive and engaging programs—especially for children and youth. Key Responsibilities
Skills & Experience
To succeed in this role, you will have excellent customer service skills, sound communication abilities, and a genuine interest in engaging with people of all backgrounds. You’ll be confident using a range of digital devices and library systems and bring strong organisational skills to manage tasks in a fast-paced environment. Ideally, you’ll have experience working in public libraries or similar customer-focused settings, and familiarity with delivering community or educational programs is a plus. A satisfactory completion of secondary education is required, along with relevant compliance checks, including a Working with Children Check, Police Check, and COVID-19 vaccination status.
