Position Overview: We are seeking skilled Linesmen and Powerline Riggers to join our dynamic team in Sydney and regional NSW. This is an exciting opportunity to work on distribution and transmission networks contributing to the national energy transition. The ideal candidates will have a strong background in powerline construction and maintenance, with a focus on safety and teamwork. This role may require travel for projects away from Sydney.

Preferred Experience:

• Experience in distribution and sub-transmission on Ausgrid, Essential and Endeavour Energy networks
• Primary transmission on Transgrid networks
• Climbing and working on Transmission Tower
• Operate puller-tensioner and winchers

Key Responsibilities:

• Install, maintain, and repair powerlines and associated equipment.
• Ensure all work is performed in compliance with safety regulations and company policies.
• Collaborate with team members to complete projects efficiently and effectively.
• Conduct site assessments and identify potential hazards.
• Operate machinery and tools safely and competently.
• Participate in ongoing training and development opportunities.

Qualifications:

• Cert 3 Powerline Distribution and/or Transmission
• High Risk Work License - Intermediate Rigging, Dogging & EWP
• Drivers Licence - HR (preferred)
• Proven experience in powerline rigging and maintenance.
• Strong knowledge of electrical safety standards and practices.
• Ability to work at heights and in various weather conditions.
• Excellent teamwork and communication skills.
• Willingness to travel for work when required.
