About us:

BDS Mechanical Repairs is a privately owned, growing business that offers mechanical, auto electrical and welding repairs both in house and onsite with 22 fixed workshop locations throughout Queensland. We have over 150 field service units and the team at BDS cover over 600,000 km2 of Queensland, meaning we’re never too far away. 

BDS Oppurtunities:

We currently have permanent positions available for LV Mechanics, Diesel mechanics and Auto electricians to join our team. These are full time positions located at our branches throughout QLD including Mackay, Moranbah, Middlemount, Moura and multiple mine sites.  The type of work includes workshop based, field service and site based (depending on your preference.) We have various roster options available to suit all lifestyles such as: Local Mon - Fri, DIDO 1/1, 2/1 or FIFO 2/1, 2/2. 

The successful candidates will possess the following:

• Relevant Trade Qualification
• Diagnostic experience
• Experience on  LV, HV or HD  
• Good communication skills
• Strong fault finding skills
• Ability to work as part of a team
• Extra skills, experience, tickets and licences will be advantageous
