Maintenance Planner

About the Company:Australian Garnet owns the Lucky Bay Garnet Mine, which has a mine life of 30 years. We are an owner miner with our own fleet of mining equipment, have a fully operational processing plant, packaging plant and 7 wind turbines, construction was completed approximately 18 months ago. About the Role:In this role, you will work within a small management team to ensure all work is carried out safely, to a high standard, and in compliance with regulations. You will collaborate closely with the maintenance team to ensure the process plant is well-maintained. This is a full-time position located at Lucky Bay Garnet - 30 Kilometers from Kalbarri, working a 8 days on / 6 days off roster. Responsibilities and duties;Schedule all maintenance activities throughout the plant.Work with the maintenance team to ensure the plant has the necessary resources for routine and shutdown maintenance.Short and Long Term maintenance Planning.Advise when scheduled maintenance downtime should be rescheduled, communicate, coordinate and establish the work plan.Ensure all labour, materials, third party contractors are arranged and scheduled in a timely manner.Maintain and execute the preventative maintenance planning system.Coordinate weekly & annual maintenance for critical equipment via work planning & scheduling meetings.Management of warehouse, including stock handling and inventory and site critical spares accessibility including inventory and availability. Qualifications & Experience:Mechanical trade background and previous supervisory experience preferred.Minimum 5 years of maintenance planning experience in the mineral sands industry.At least 10 years of mining experience in WA, including familiarity with maintenance systems; we use Pronto.Proficiency with CMMS software and strong computer skills, with a preference for experience with Pronto.
