Manager - Workshop & Maintenance Services

About the role

The Rezayat Logistics Group is seeking an experienced Manager - Workshop & Maintenance Services to join our team in Saudi Arabia. Based in Dammam this full-time role, you will be responsible for overseeing the efficient and effective operation of our workshop and maintenance services, ensuring the highest standards of safety and quality for our fleet of specialised vehicles and equipment.

What you'll be doing

• Manage and oversee the daily operations of the workshop, including scheduling maintenance and repairs, allocating resources, and monitoring performance

• Lead and develop a team of skilled technicians, mechanics, and support staff, providing guidance, training, and performance management

• Implement and maintain robust maintenance and preventative programs to ensure the reliability and longevity of our fleet

• Ensure compliance with all relevant safety regulations, industry standards, and company policies

• Identify opportunities for process improvements, cost savings, and operational efficiencies

• Collaborate with the broader leadership team to support the overall strategic objectives of the business

What we're looking for

• Extensive experience (8+ years) in a similar management role within the fleet management or heavy equipment maintenance industry

• Strong technical knowledge and understanding of vehicle and equipment maintenance, with the ability to troubleshoot and diagnose complex issues

• Demonstrated leadership skills, with the ability to motivate and develop a team of skilled technicians

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to liaise effectively with both internal and external stakeholders

• Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities, with a focus on continuous improvement

• Thorough understanding of relevant safety regulations, industry standards, and compliance requirements

• Formal qualifications in mechanical engineering, automotive technology, or a related field would be highly regarded
