We are seeking a highly organised and efficient site administrator to join our team. The successful candidate will manage administrative tasks at our marine facility, ensuring smooth and effective operations.
Kimberley Marine Support Base (KMSB) owns and operates a modern marine logistics facility within the Port of Broome. The KMSB facility has been designed to accommodate Broome’s unique environment and extreme tidal fluctuations. It incorporates a floating wharf linked to a fixed causeway, that allows safe and efficient operations 24/7 regardless of tide depth - driving safe and efficient logistics solutions and reducing supply chain costs and carbon emissions.
Key Responsibilities:
· Oversee daily administrative functions at the marine facility.
· Maintain accurate records and documentation.
· Coordinate with various departments to ensure seamless operations.
· Handle correspondence, scheduling, office supplies management, assist with organising equipment maintenance and office repairs.
· Assist with project coordination and reporting.
· Provide support to site staff and management.
Qualifications:
· Experience as a Site Administrator or similar role, preferably in a marine or port operations.
· Strong organisational and time management skills.
· Strong written and verbal communication skills.
· Proficiency in Microsoft Office and management software.
· Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
· Relevant qualifications including diplomas and/or certificates in business or business administration are desirable.
Availability:
· Willingness to work flexible hours, including weekends and public holidays, as required.
