About the Role – Motor Mechanic

We are seeking an experienced Mechanic to join our team. In this role, you will maintain and repair all types of vehicles, as well as follow specific vehicle manufacturer guidelines to deliver an industry-leading level of customer service. 

Your day-to-day tasks would include

• Repairing and maintaining customer vehicles 
• Carrying out logbook services and repairs 
• Repairing engines and transmissions 
• Carrying out cylinder head repairs 
• Carrying out wheel, wheel balancing and other wheel/suspension-related services
• Identifying mechanical faults as well as issues with vehicle stability and tyre wear
• Providing advice and reporting potentially dangerous risks found on customer vehicles
• Safely operating hoists
• Conducting road tests as required

About you

• Carry relevant licenses and certifications required for a mechanic
• Excellent communication skills when dealing with customers and team members
• Able to work in a team environment, but also unsupervised
• Excellent time-management and problem-solving skills
• MUST be physically fit and able to carry out day-to-day tasks
• MUST have knowledge of and comply with WHS practices
• MUST be experienced and knowledgeable in the automotive industry
