Position Details

• Full-Time/Part-Time (0.6 - 1.0 FTE), Permanent
• Classification: Registered Nurse Level 2 with salary range of Level 2: $96,705 - $101,566 per annum pro rata + Superannuation; Health Professional Level 2 with a salary range of Level 2: $91,706 - $102,613 per annum pro rata + Superannuation

About your new role

As a Mental Health Clinician, you will have a background in and be registered as a Psychologist, Occupational Therapist, Social Worker, or a Mental Health Nurse including mental health accreditation with the relevant accreditation body in your field. If this accreditation has not yet been achieved, it is expected that this would be achieved within one year of working in the service. You will work as part of a multi-disciplinary recovery-focused team providing high quality support to consumers of the Southern Wellbeing Hub. You will work in close collaboration with the multi-disciplinary team.

What you will bring to the role

• Proven clinical experience to apply evidence-based interventions including understanding of theoretical concepts within mental health and AOD sciences and their application to mental health and AOD issues and problems.
• Experience working as a member of a multi- disciplinary team with the ability to inspire and facilitate team commitment and cooperation
• Demonstrated experience in preparation of reports with recommendations
• Experience working across a range of Commonwealth and State funded mental health/AOD programs and ensuring program implementation in line with funding requirements and contracts
• Demonstrated ability to form and nurture partnerships with government and non-government mental health, AOD, emergency and community service providers

• Formal tertiary qualifications in Nursing, Psychology, Social Work or Occupational Therapy
• Current full registration as a Psychologist, Occupational Therapist or Registered Nurse with an annual practicing certificate from the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA), or full registration as a Social Worker with the Australian Association of Social Workers(AASW)
