METAL ROOFING TEAM MEMBER

Raven Roofing is a medium-sized company that works with residential and commercial builders to complete projects of all sizes. We have been consistently growing over the last 15 years, which has created the need to expand our team. We are currently seeking qualified individuals to fill the positions of Site Supervisor and an Internal Position.

The Role - Site Supervisor

As a Site Supervisor for Raven Roofing Pty Ltd, you will oversee all construction activities on-site and ensure the successful delivery of metal roofing projects in Southeast QLD. This full-time position entails on-site supervision to maintain high standards of quality, safety, and efficiency.

What you'll be doing

• Assist Schedulers with coordinating construction activities to ensure efficient resource use and timely project completion.

• Liaise with clients, subcontractors, and other stakeholders to ensure project requirements are met.

• Implement and enforce health and safety protocols to maintain a safe work environment.

• Monitor and report on project progress, identifying and resolving any issues or delays.

• Offer practical assistance and direction to team members as necessary.

• Ensure all work meets the highest quality standards.

• Help prepare project documents, including Installer Plans, Service Contracts, Material Orders, and Progress/Invoicing Reports.

What we're looking for

• Minimum 5 years of experience in the metal roofing industry.

• Thorough knowledge of construction methods, materials, and building codes related to metal roofing.

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively lead and manage a team.

• Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills to handle site-related issues.

• Demonstrated experience in project planning, scheduling, and coordination.

• Proficient in reading and interpreting construction drawings and specifications.

• Certification in construction safety, such as a White Card.

The Role - Internal Position

Working with the business owner, Sub-contractors and team to ensure quality installation of Roofs, Fascia and Guttering, which meet set budgets and time schedules.

To liaise between our Customers, Roofing Crews and internal staff; to communicate job particulars efficiently and effectively to all involved. Working with excel and adobe to process material orders and assisting with scheduling and other adhoc duties as required.

Skills and Experience necessary:- 

• Minimum 3 years Construction experience in Metal Roofing.

• Team Player.

• Extensive Product Knowledge and mathematics skills

• Strong work ethic, focused on the task at hand

• Excellent communication

• Multi- tasking abilities

• Punctual, dependable, reliable and trustworthy

• Enthusiastic and willing to learn

• Strong attention to detail and accuracy

• Must have own vehicle and licence
