The Woodpanel Centre has been operating since 1994, supplying cabinet making, shop fitting and other industries with board and laminate products. An opportunity exists for an individual with strong work ethic and customer service focus to join our team and assist us in delivering excellent service to our customer base. As a small, family owned business the successful applicant must have attention to detail and the ability to work well in a team, whilst being able to work autonomously when conducting deliveries.

Qualifications & experience

• Australian Driver's Licence – Queensland Class MR (Manual), Type Open, or interstate equivalent

• Licence to Perform High Risk Work – Type LF (Forklift) or the willingness and ability to obtain one.

• Highly driven customer service focus and strong reliability.

Tasks & responsibilities

• Driving of company vehicles (utes, C class trucks, MR class trucks) to deliver goods sold to customers in the South East Queensland area. Assist with unloading at customer premises ensuring goods are accurately delivered. (Manual handling required)

• Collate orders into an appropriate run order, prior to orders being picked or loaded. Assist warehouse staff to pick orders prior to loading, or alternatively pick orders autonomously if warehouse staff are otherwise engaged.

• Maintain company vehicles in clean and tidy state. Report any mechanical problems which you may come across, in any company vehicle, to management and inform management of vehicle servicing requirements when services are due.

• Ensure compliance with company policies including health and safety procedures.

• If required, assist with office duties such as answering telephones or perform the duties of warehouse staff.

• Other appropriate jobs as required by management.

• The successful applicant must have or have the ability to obtain a National Police Certificate with no negative notations.
