The Role:
As National Business Development Manager, you will lead the charge on growth, driving AMES’ sales strategy across new markets, emerging channels, and key national customers. You'll craft new pathways for revenue, build powerful partnerships, and create a strong future vision in line with AMES’ brand and business strategy. This is a senior-level role for a strategic thinker and hands-on leader!
Key Responsibilities:
Lead and manage a portfolio of high-value strategic customers
Develop and implement a national new business strategy, with a focus on emerging markets and online retailers
Identify growth opportunities and execute go-to-market strategies for new channels
Build influential relationships across internal and external stakeholders
Deliver data-backed market and competitor analysis to drive innovation
Represent AMES at industry events and be a trusted thought leader
Collaborate across Sales, Product, Operations, Design, and more to turn vision into action
What We’re Looking For:
Proven experience in national sales or business development roles
Strong leadership and communication skills—you're a relationship builder
Demonstrated success in new market development, online retail, and strategic partnerships
Commercial acumen and a data-driven mindset
Ability to think creatively, work cross-functionally, and influence at all levels
