We are seeking a skilled Network Engineer to design, implement, and maintain our network infrastructure. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with network equipment, security policies, and troubleshooting in a fast-paced, regulated environment. Key Responsibilities Design, plan, and configure network equipment to meet organizational requirements and industry standards.Install, configure, and maintain routers, switches, firewalls, UPS systems, and other hardware.Independently design and deploy network setups.Package and ship configured equipment to remote sites when required.Diagnose and resolve network issues and outages promptly.Enforce security policies, access controls, and compliance requirements.Perform regular network maintenance, including software updates and patches.Implement and optimize network infrastructure to support business needs.Maintain and update network documentation, including Visio diagrams and schematic layouts.Manage network monitoring tools such as Logic Monitor and Netbox.Stay informed about industry trends and emerging technologies.Provide technical support to end-users for network-related issues.Maintain accurate records of network configurations, changes, and incidents.Prepare reports on network performance, security, and utilization.Collaborate with vendors, outsourcers, and contractors to ensure timely delivery of network products and services.Adhere to ITIL best practices for change, incident, capacity, and problem management.Follow the change management process meticulously with no gaps.Ensure compliance with industry standards and regulatory requirements, including but not limited to FDA, SOX, ISO regulations.Coordinate, prepare, and respond to IT audit requests while resolving any audit findings. Qualifications & Experience Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (or equivalent work experience).Minimum of 4 years of experience implementing Cisco LAN, WAN, WLAN, and Palo Alto Firewalls.Applied knowledge of network hardware, protocols, Internet standards, the OSI model, and TCP/IP.Experience in Data Center environments, Nexus Switching, and F5 load balancing is desirable.Knowledge of cloud networking and SD-WAN deployment is a plus.Experience in a regulated manufacturing environment is an advantage.Familiarity with data privacy laws and compliance standards.Previous experience in a multinational company is beneficial. Certifications (Preferred but Not Required) Cisco CCNA, PCNSE, or equivalent certifications.ITIL v3 Foundation or higher qualification. Skills & Competencies Ability to work independently with minimal oversight in a fast-paced environment.Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.Excellent customer service orientation and communication skills.Ability to collaborate effectively in a global team-oriented environment.Capacity to analyze root causes, develop remediation plans, and implement solutions.Strong research skills with the ability to stay updated on evolving networking technologies.Ability to present technical concepts in user-friendly language.A mindset for continuous improvement and innovation Physical & Mental Requirements Ability to lift up to 25 lbs as needed.Adaptability to evolving business and technological needs.
