TerryWhite Chemmart Newton are a locally owned community Pharmacy with a proud history of looking after our community and customers at the highest level. Our ideal applicant will have an excellent knowledge of vitamins and nutritional products, with previous experience in retail vitamin sales. You will need strong communication skills with the ability to execute exceptional customer service on a consistent basis. You will be self-motivated, proactive and sales driven whilst ensuring our valued customers receive professional advice and health solutions to maintain optimum health.

A fantastic opportunity is available for an energetic, highly organised and experienced Pharmacy Assistant with exceptional customer service skills to join our team at TerryWhite Chemmart Newton.

• Roles and Responsibilities including, but not limited to:

  • Part time role
  • Provide product information and make recommendations in Vitamins & Nutrition.
  • Ability to merchandise and set up catalogues
  • Maintain the presentation of the store and service areas and ensure that all merchandising, promotional and retail activity are maintained to TerryWhite Chemmart standards (Maintain stock ordering, rotation and storage requirements)
  • Greet customers and assist them with general enquiries
  • Process sales and account payments
  • Accept prescriptions to be dispensed
  • Support the pharmacists in running Health Promotions and Immunisation clinics through the online Booking system
  • Promote and operate our in-store TerryWhite Chemmart Health Services offering
  • Reporting to and supporting the Retail Manager/Stock Controller
  • Always work within QCPP standards and follow all Health and Safety legislation
  • Above award rate and relocation allowances will be considered for the right candidate.
