Who we’re looking for
Reporting to the Lead, Mobility Management APAC, the purpose for this newly created position will be to support the global mobility team by administering tax and immigration processes, to contribute to compliance and to assist employees to navigate complex requirements for international assignments.
Other key responsibilities will be to:
- Execute tax and immigration processes for global mobility
- Assist employees with visa and tax documentation
- Monitor on global mobility metrics
- Assist tax and immigration procedures
- Collaborate with team members on global mobility policies
- Follow immigration regulation compliance and standards
- Assist with the compilation of reports on mobility and tax compliance
- Support audits related to tax and immigration
- Administrative support for our mobility programs, including invoice payments and reporting
- Deliver feedback to guide possible improvements to global mobility standard methodology and processes
To be considered suitable the ideal applicant will have:
- Demonstrated administration skills in HR and/or end-to-end global relocation coordination including logistics, housing and family support
- Proficient skills in global mobility data analysis tools and related software
- Advanced skills in Microsoft Office including Outlook, Word, Outlook and Power BI
- Solid experience in a HR admin or global mobility environment with exposure to employee regulatory requirements (such as immigration, recruitment, HR, employee relations, tax compliance etc)
- Experience in coordinating internal company transfers as per company policies including administering payroll, benefits, systems updates, etc
- Solid team workflow coordination capability across a diverse portfolio of service delivery requiring excellent team and stakeholder collaboration skills.
Offered on a flexible 5:2 work arrangement this permanent position will suit applicants living in Melbourne, Victoria. Residents of another Newmont Australia capital city hub will be considered for the ideal candidate. Full eligibility for employment in Australia will be essential.
