About the role

The role of Operations Analyst is responsible for providing business improvement, data analysis and reporting services; to assist in maintaining and improving the level of service provided. 

This role will see you use your strong communication skills to develop and maintain professional networks across the business while assisting the Team Leader and Section Manager to develop, deliver and maintain a range of performance improvement initiatives to support business processes and system functionality. 

This position is required to provide quality customer service and create value for the community.

To be successful in this role, you will have:

  • Diploma level qualification in Business Analytics, Business/ Commerce or Project Management or related field OR demonstrated solid contemporary experience combined with ongoing professional development.
  • Experience in the application of project management principles, and project development. 
  • Experience in implementing change within a medium to large organisation. 
  • Experience in maintaining effective working relationships with key stakeholders.
  • The ability to analyse, isolate and interpret business needs and develop appropriate process and workflows. 
  • Experience in water and sewerage operations, procedures and business administrative functions. 
  • The ability to work independently whilst managing day to day issues associated with assigned projects and operational response needs.

Other important information

  • The commencing salary for this position is up to $74.7k per year. Central Coast Council also provides progression opportunities for employees to progress up to the maximum salary of $86.5k on completion of assessment of skills and performance 11.5% superannuation 
  • We have a permanent full-time role available.
  • This role will be able to access a 9 day fortnight.
  • We are able to offer hybrid and flexible working conditions for this role - 2 days from home and 3 days onsite.
  • This role is located at the Nexus Business Hub, North Wyong. 

Council may create an eligibility list from this recruitment process and may utilise this eligibility list to fill other permanent or temporary vacancies.
