THE ROLE
We are seeking an Order Processing & Fulfillment Coordinator to support the smooth processing of Biome Australia’s domestic and international orders, both incoming and outgoing. This is a hybrid role, being a mix of hands-on and administrative duties. Receiving and entering orders across multiple systems is a key part of the position. This role will be ensuring products and supplies are ordered, received, and sent out to distributors and customers on time while maintaining a clean, organised, and safe warehouse environment. Coordinating and overseeing accurate records for all inventory movement is a crucial part of this role.
KEY COLLABORATIONS
Supply Chain Manager, Operations Manager, CFO, Casual warehouse staff
RESPONSIBILITIES
Administrative processing of orders for wholesale and direct customers
Coordinating incoming and outgoing shipments with freight providers for both local and international shipments, and maintaining appropriate records
Manual picking, packing and labelling
Ensuring all order packing and deliveries are in line with customer requirements
Managing daily task assignment for casual warehouse staff
Monitoring inventory levels and assisting with monthly stock-take of product and marketing materials
Managing replenishment of all warehouse consumables
Responsibility for overall warehouse tidiness, upkeep and inventory organisation including OH&S compliance, and managing regular maintenance of warehouse equipment
Assisting senior management in regular audits as required
Coordinating provision of marketing materials to Biome Australia’s nationwide field team and regional accounts
Developing and maintaining constructive working relationships with stakeholders
Dealing directly with international and domestic distributors and customers both via phone and electronically
General administration duties including data entry, filing, and report generation
Ability to safely coordinate the movement of pallets weighing up to 150kg using appropriate warehouse handling equipment
Working in both ambient and cold environments
KEY SELECTION CRITERIA
IT literacy, with confidence working across multiple systems
Ability to prioritise tasks in a very busy environment
Excellent organisational skills and ability to work efficiently, with a strong work ethic
Exceptional attention to detail with a proven ability to create and follow processes and procedures, and the ability to investigate discrepancies and process variances
International and domestic shipping experience
Experience with NetSuite or other ERP system desirable
Experience with Excel (basic sums and formatting, able to export data for reports) desirable
Knowledge of computerised inventory and tracking systems, and bar code technology desirable
Experience in pharmaceuticals/nutraceuticals/health a bonus
