Details: Harrison School is a P-10 school with enrolments of more than 1400 students. A strength of our school is its diverse population with many students coming from language backgrounds other than English (EAL/D) and Australian Defence Force families.

We are seeking a dynamic and collaborative person to drive P-10 learning and wellbeing through the development of sophisticated data and school management systems. The school leader will join a united P-10 executive team who work together to lead the implementation of our school priorities.

Job Description:

  • Expertise in developing and implementing systems to effectively collect, analyse and use student learning and wellbeing data in a P-10 setting.
  • Highly developed time management, communication and technical skills to deliver a diverse range of projects.
  • Lead the development of effective business solutions to improve daily operations in our P-10 setting.
  • In-depth understanding of Sentral, including Timetabling and Assessment and Reporting modules.
  • Capacity to work collaboratively with a large P-10 Executive and teaching team.
  • Undertake an appropriate teaching load and other duties as determined by the Principal.

Eligibility/ Other Requirements:

  • A minimum of four years full time (or equivalent) tertiary study leading to the award of a recognised school teaching qualification.
  • Current professional teaching registration with the ACT Teacher Quality Institute (or eligibility for teacher registration with the ACT Teacher Quality Institute).
  • Prior to commencing this role, a current registration issued under the Working with Vulnerable People (Background Checking) Act 2011 is required.
