RiverCity Ferries proudly operates and maintains the Brisbane City Council Ferry fleet of CityCats, CityHoppers and associated infrastructure on the Brisbane River. 

About the Role 

Reporting to the Painting Supervisor, you will carry out paint repairs on terminals and vessels and support the maintenance team where necessary with general laboring responsibilities. 

About You 

We are seeking suitable candidates to work with the Maintenance Paint team on either a casual or temporary basis for six months.

About the Position 

This is an active/physical role carrying out the following responsibilities: 

• Paint repairs on terminals and a variety of CityCat vessels
• Maintain a safe working environment and good housekeeping
• Work on projects as directed
• Develop and maintain positive work relationships within the team. 

 The successful applicant must possess the following: 

• Painting experience with application of marine coatings preferred but not essential
• Demonstrated active involvement in Zero Harm safety philosophy
• Ability to follow instructions and work as part of a team
• Must be reliable
