Part-time/ Full time Physiotherapist

Port Melbourne Physiotherapy & Pilates is recruiting for our newest team member to join our expanding team!

We are seeking a highly motivated Physiotherapist to join our amazing team of practitioners, which includes musculoskeletal physiotherapists, women's health physios, hand therapist, dietitian and remedial massage therapist. 

We are seeking a part-time/ full-time Musculoskeletal Physiotherapist and Clinical Pilates instructor to join our expanding team. The role will involve independently assessing and managing a caseload of musculoskeletal and pregnancy/post-natal clients, and instructing 15-20 clinical Pilates classes per week. Working hours will include some evenings and Saturday mornings.

The successful applicant will have a strong work ethic, be able to work both independently and as part of a team, and appreciate a holistic approach to health and well-being. The position suits a Physiotherapist who enjoys treating a broad variety of musculoskeletal conditions and has experience in Clinical Pilates. Physios with an interest in Women's and pelvic health will also be supported by our team.

Specific requirements for the role include:

• Experience in managing acute injuries, post-operative rehabilitation and chronic pain

• Ability to take independent subjective and objective assessments and provide treatments including manual therapy and exercise prescription

• Excellent communication skills

• English language fluency

• AHPRA registration

• Strong work ethic and ability to work in a team environment, and consult with other health professionals as required

The following will be beneficial but not compulsory:

• A minimum two years experience in MSK physiotherapy

• Completed formal pilates training (matwork or reformer)

• Previous experience running group exercise classes

• Knowledge or experience using diagnostic Real-time Ultrasound

• Evidence of recent professional development related to physiotherapy
