The role:
We are seeking an experienced and dynamic HR Manager to provide both strategic and operational leadership within our high-performing People & Culture team. This pivotal role will lead our Business Partnering function (2 HR Advisors) and our Recruitment team (Recruitment Specialist and Recruitment Administrator).

Working in close collaboration with leaders across the organisation, you will design and deliver people initiatives that build an engaged, inclusive, and high-performing workforce. You’ll play a critical role in supporting organisational change and ensuring compliance with evolving workplace legislation.

We’re looking for a candidate who thrives on all things Employee and Industrial Relations, with demonstrated expertise in EBA negotiation, award and legislative interpretation, and complex case management. Experience leading change management initiatives and guiding leaders through periods of growth, transformation, or reform will be highly regarded.

The successful candidate will demonstrate:
  • Expertise in employee & industrial relations, including enterprise agreement negotiations
  • A collaborative and proactive approach, aligned with a not-for-profit environment
  • Strong understanding of HR legislation and compliance requirements
  • Proven experience mentoring HR professionals and overseeing advisory functions

To be eligible for this role, you will need to present:
  • Tertiary qualification in human resources or similar
  • At least 2-5 years in a similar role within a medium to large organisation
  • NDIS Workers Screening Check Clearance (or willingness to obtain)
  • NDIS Workers Orientation Module certificate of completion (or willingness to obtain)
  • Victorian Employee Working with Children Check (or willingness to obtain)
