About the Role
Trilby Misso Lawyers has an exciting opportunity for an experienced Paralegal to join our growing Springfield office, based at the Orion Shopping Centre, working with an Associate and Secretary on a variety of personal injury matters, including Motor Vehicle and Workcover files.

have personal injury or related paralegal experience
are highly organised, proactive and can meet deadlines
have a commitment to collaborative legal practice
have a high level of verbal, written and research skills
have an advanced Microsoft Office skill set and knowledge of Practice Management/CRM systems
have a demonstrated ability to communicate patiently and emphatically with a range of people including vulnerable clients
have a positive attitude, a willingness to learn and a desire to do whatever it takes to help the team be successful
are passionate about helping clients and pride yourself on delivering high quality work every time
You will be responsible for:
Liaising with clients and counsel (including undertaking regular client updates)
Evidence gathering
Taking witness statements
Drafting Notice of Claim Forms
Drafting a variety of documentation including Statutory Declarations, Employer Statements, Supporting Statements, letters and other correspondence
Responding to Requests
Reviewing and summarising various records
Dealing with non-compliance issues and liability responses
Organising Conferences and Mediations together with preparing the necessary documentation
To be successful in this role, you must have paralegal experience ideally within the legal industry (Personal Injury Law preferred). With a very strong eye for detail and accuracy with systems, you will confidently support the Lawyer with their matters. You will have a positive attitude, a willingness to learn and be motivated to achieve successful outcomes. You must be passionate about helping clients and pride yourself on delivering high quality work every time.
