Position Overview: We are seeking a dedicated Physiotherapist to join our team. The successful candidate will provide clinical assessments and treatments for various musculoskeletal conditions, ensuring the highest quality of patient care. This role involves working closely with the Clinical Director and Practice Manager to maintain practice standards and contribute to community health promotion activities.

Task & Responsibilities

The main responsibilities will encompass, but are not limited to:

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct thorough clinical assessments, including muscle, nerve, joint, and functional ability tests, to identify and evaluate patients' physical problems.
  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans tailored to each patient’s needs and goals, incorporating appropriate therapeutic techniques and modalities such as exercise, heat, cold, massage, manipulation, hydrotherapy, and electrotherapy.
  • Provide hands-on therapy to relieve pain, reinstate joint mobility, improve function, enhance circulation and improve balance and coordination.
  • Develop, monitor, and review programs to educate patients on treatment options, self-management strategies, and future injury prevention.
  • Monitoring patients' progress throughout the course of treatment, and adjusting therapy plans as necessary to optimize outcomes and achieve rehabilitation goals.
  • Maintain accurate clinical notes and correspondence in compliance with regulations and legal requirements.
  • Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders, including clients, colleagues, referring medical practitioners, and governing bodies, as needed, regarding patients' problems, needs, and progress.
  • Contribute to the development and continuous improvement of practice policies and procedures.

Role requirements::

  • Availability to work Monday to Saturday.
  • Availability for occasional out-of-hours work.
  • Some local travel may be required.
  • Participation in formal performance reviews and continuous improvement activities.

Qualification & Experience

Qualification and Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Physiotherapy or equivalent.
  • Current registration with AHPRA.
  • Minimum of 1 year of experience as a practising physiotherapist.
  • This position is open to Australian citizens, permanent residents, and holders of valid work visas.
  • Full work rights in Australia.
  • Current Police Check, DCSI clearance or equivalent.
  • Current professional indemnity liability insurance.
