Job role will be management of the breeding herd and supervision of other staff members within the breeding herd.
Ensuring all duties are carried out by the team are completed to a high standard and timely manner. Reporting back to farm management on a daily basis. Starting salary will be 73,500 depending on experience and knowledge. Accommodation is available on site if needed.
Minimum of 3 years recent pig experience

- Supervising and participating in the daily inspection of livestock, so that their needs are met, and environmental parameters are maintained
- Tend to routine husbandry of all stock
- Supervision of data collection and accuracy in recording to aid stock and inventory control
- Provide overall maintenance and compliance of the Company Quality Assurance Program for the site ensuring that all relevant documentation is kept current
- Supervise less experienced Team members
- Participate in company and industry training sessions and workshops as required
Base salary 73,500 plus superannuation
